barrium chloride =BaCl2

sodium sulphate=Na2SO4

when barrium chloride BaCl2 and sodium sulphte Na2SO4 are mixed then it gives one barium sulphate(BaSO4)   and two sodium chloride.

the balanced equation of the reaction is given under

BaCl2 + Na2SO4 ⇒ BaSO4 + 2NaCl

when a solution of sodium sulphate and barium chloride is mixed a white precipitate is formed this is because the product so formed after the reaction is insoluble in water.

NA2SO4+BACL2 ===> 2NACL+ BASO4 ( double displacement reaction or precipitate reaction)
