Hey
__________
From newtons second law
_________________________
•more the weight, more the acceleration it has
•less the weight , less the acceleration it has
•but The body is dropped , and when there will be no air resitance , both the bodies will fall at the same time
•hence, pan and cap will fall at the same time
Hope helped

if we are considering no air resistance
both will fall with acceleration = g
applicable on gravitational force
for other force (non conservative)
For constant force F
mass is inversely proportional to acceleration
under same force on two bodies
the heavier one will have lesser acceleration
