when we press a rubber ball placed on the table it get deformed due to the force acting on it.
and if we leave it suddenly it will bounce back .

When we apply such kind of force on that rubber ball ( Unbalanced force) and put it on the table. It gets deformed, which means its shape changes to oblong (Ovoid ) from spherical (round) shape and later it will bounce back .
