Hello dear!
Here is your answer dear!
When we we strongly heat ferrous sulphate, a brown residue will be formed. Along with this vapour, vapours of gases sulphur dioxide and sulphur trioxide accompanied with burning smell of sulphur will be released.
The decomposition reaction that has taken place is :
Please look in the picture.
( ∆ = Heat )
Since decomposition has been carried upon strong heating, it is also called thermal decomposition reaction. A single substance has resulted in mixture of three substances in this reaction.
