The air which has both CO2 and O2 is inhaled. It travels from our nasal cavity down the trachea and into our lungs. Where the hemoglobin in the blood absorbs the O2 (oxygen) and carries it to all the cells. Cellular respiration occurs in the cell. They use this O2 to produce energy. Then we exhale. The air we exhale consists mainly of CO2 but also O2 and water vapor
