At the ball in the ministers house Matilda was a huge success. Every man wanted to be introduce and presented to her. This was a great opportunity for Matilda to showcase her beauty. This was also a moment of great self esteem for Matilda as she was proving to be successful in her life's first ever ball. Sha danced gracefully. Her dream was fulfilled only partially for she did not know what was yet to happen that would turn the tables upon her
