The Battle of Plassey was a decisive victory of the British East India Company over the Nawab of Bengal and his French allies on 23 June 1757, under the leadership of Robert Clive.

The battle helped the Company seize control of Bengal.

If there was no battle of plassey took place, then India's economy which had been affected severely because of the battle would'nt be severely affected , and there will be no rules and regulations for example doctrine of lapse would not be imposed.
