Ink poisoning is VERY rare, and generally only occurs if a SUBSTANTIAL AMOUNT gets into your blood stream (usually via saturating your hands in ink for extended periods of time, getting a tattoo put too deeply under your skin, swallowing a ton of it, or stabbing yourself with a broken pen that actually leaks a lot of ink into you!).

If a teeny-tiny amount got in, nothing will happen unless you have a very compromised immune system (like having AIDS).

Ink contains heavy metal compounds which are toxic if ingested or get into one's bloodstream - but the reason why the pen companies do not provide a warning is that it's far easier to kill yourself with something (almost anything) else.

You will be okay.

If you want something to look for, though, the symptoms of blood poisoning (from ink) include: dark, almost black veins that spread from the effected area if ink infiltration towards you heart (slowly), skin color changes to an almost greenish cast, heart and respiratory problems, vomiting, and headache. If you notice your veins turning blackish it is time to go to the hospital. Period.

But take this from someone who used to deal with ink all the time - if you wash up, you'll be fine!

Ink poisoning is very uncommon and typically only happens when a Significant amount enters your bloodstream. Unless the immune system is severely weakened, nothing will happen if a very small amount got in (like having AIDS).

Because it's much simpler to commit suicide with something else, pen manufacturers choose not to warn customers that ink contains toxic heavy metal compounds that can be ingested or enter the bloodstream.

The signs of blood poisoning (from ink), however, include dark, nearly black veins that slowly spread from the affected area towards your heart, a change in skin tone to one that is almost greenish, problems with your heart and lungs, nausea, and headaches. It's time to visit the hospital if your veins start to look dark.
