On July 28, 1914, one month to the day after Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria and his wife were killed by a Serbian nationalist in Sarajevo, Austria-Hungary declares war on Serbia, effectively beginning the First World War.

the Austrian empire was vanished and Austria got divided into smaller countries like Austria,Hungary ,etc
when world war 1 ended, the treaty of Versailles was held to establish peace and this abolished the monarchy around the world

bhupesh99: and its constitution was drafted/ made on October 9,1920
muskaandeepkaur: Hmmmm thanks
bhupesh99: but it took 9yrs to amend this constitution
bhupesh99: even there are some civil wars in the period of constitution
bhupesh99: u r welcome
muskaandeepkaur: I get some confusion about causes of franco german rivalry and anglo german rivalry
muskaandeepkaur: Can u pleze explain me
bhupesh99: the francio german rivalry is the competition between the france and germany during the time of Napoleon Bonaparte
bhupesh99: the anglo German rivalry is the competition between U K and germany before unification of germany
bhupesh99: this was inturn related to imperialism in the middle of 18th century
