Indraprastha was actually Khandavprastha, a barren land (presently Delhi) which was Given to Pandavas during division of Kingdom. Obviously when it was given to Pandavas by Hastinapur, it means it belonged to Hanstinapur. So after war, the kingdom Joined And became Hastinapur again.
