what happened to its acceleration when a body acquires its maximum speed

acceleration is 0 m/s^2

acceleration becomes 0

kiritosao2002: since the body has reached it's maximum speed it can't accelerate any further....and continues at a constant pace without any increase in speed ...and since acceleration is the increase in speed..... acceleration becomes 0
