what happened to the area of the rectangle if (1)its its length is trepled and the breadth is doubled (2)its length is doubled and breadth is Halved(3) its length as well as its breadth is doubled​

1)area=l*b

if lenghth is tripled=3l,and breadth id doubled=2b

then new area=3l*2b=6lb

so area will become 6 times

2)if length is doubled=2l,and breadth is halved=b/2

=2l*b/2

the area will remain same

3) if length and breadth both are doubled then 2l*2b

=4lb

then the area will become4 times
