What happened to the speed of sound when it goes solid to gaseous state

Let me explain this for you...
Sound waves are longitudinal waves.
So, when they enter gaseous medium from solid medium the speed of light decreases.
 
This because the reason that is gases has humidity and humidity slows the speed of sound.
