Many people left the villages due to the economic crises of Bengal. Weekly Bazaar sellers left the city because they were forced to sell the goods in lower price. Many people cannot pay the dues. Production started to decline.

During the economic crisis of Bengal agricultural production also declined. In 1770, around 10 million people dead due to the terrible famine. One third of people were died during the economic crisis of Bengal.
