Due to Mrs phumphreys carelessness tricki had become a bloated sausage and had fattened up because of this one day tricki fell ill.He refused his favorite dishes, didn't eat anything,had bouts of vomiting.Mrs phumphrey called Mr Herriot and he took tricki to the surgery (hospital)where for the first 24 hours he had been given only water and nothing else then on the next day he began to take interest in the surroundings and he eventually began to enjoy with the other dogs and in the end due to proper diet and exercise he became fit.
