♦️Aluminium reacts with sodium hydroxide
♦️Aluminium is very reactive metal
Aluminium dissolves in sodium hydroxide with the evolution of hydrogen gas, H2, and the formation of aluminates of the type
[Al(OH)4]-.
2Al+ 2NaOH+ 6H2O → 2Na+ (aq) + 2[Al(OH)4]- + 3H2

Hey folk...
As sodium itself is very reactive so no reaction take place. The reaction may be possible when any metal is present but more reactive sodium.
Thank you
Hope it helps
