When barium chloride reacts with aluminum sulphate, aluminum chloride and white precipitate of barium sulphate are formed.This is a double displacement reaction.

ie BaCl2 + Al2(SO4) 3 = BaSO4 + AlCl3 {unbalanced equation}

3BaCl2 + Al2(SO4) 3 = 3BaSO4 + 2AlCl3 {balanced equation}
