Answer:

The dust of snow falling on the poet has changed his mood. The soft, cold touch of the snow changed the poet's mood from rueful to joyous. A day that began with regrets changed into one of happiness after the dust of snow fell on him. The previous sense of gloom and depression disappears. He becomes cheerful. His mood is uplifted.

Explanation:

The poet was near the hemlock tree. it was a poisonous tree and stands for sorrow or sadness. a crow sat on a tree and shakes off its branch so that the dust of snow which is on the tree falls on the poet. this little incident brings a sudden change in the poet's mood.  A crow on the hemlock tree shook down the dust of snow on the poet. The falling dust of snow on the poet has changed his mood.  The poet was in low spirits. A feeling of gloom and depression overpowered him. He felt that the whole day had gone waste.  But when the dust of snow from the hemlock tree fell on the poet, he took it in another way. He was depressed and sorrowful but the moment the crow shook the hemlock tree and dust of snow fell on him, he felt unburdened and relieved.
