XeF6 on partial hydrolysis gives

1. XeF6+H2O gives XeOF4+2H2O

2. XeF6 +2H2O gives XeO2F2+4HF

Hey dear,

● Answer -
XeF6 on partial hydrolysis forms XeOF4 or XeO2F2.

● Explanation -
Xenon hexafluoride on partial hydrolysis forms xenon oxytetrafluoride or xenon dioxydifluoride.

Addition of 1 molecule of water -
XeF6 + H2O ---> XeOF4 + 2HF

Addition of 2 molecules of water -
XeF6 + 2H2O ---> XeO2F2 + 4HF

* Complete hydrolysis reaction -
XeF6 + 3H2O ---> XeO3 + 6HF

Hope this helps you.
