What happens a beam of light passes through a suspension?

Answer:

when the light pass through the suspension it falls over the particles and colloids with them which makes a refraction or reflection in their path through certain angle and their occurs scattering in light beam. Due to scattering of light , path of light is illuminated. This is also known as Tyndall effect.
