when acetylene is treated with hydrogen it undergoes hydrogenation on passing through nickel metal at 300 degree Celsius to form ethane which further undergoes another hydrogenation reaction to form ethane.

when acetylene is treated with ozone at room temperature acetylene ozonide is formed

when acetylene is treated with a halogen then the respective ethene halide is formed..
