Answer:

Transmission of nerve impulses between two neurons takes place through the synapse. The axon terminal of a neuron releases specilized chemicals called neurotransmitters. These chemicals travel through the synapse and reach the dendrites of the next neuron. The nerve impulses travel along with the neurotransmitters.

Answer:

  • Gap between two neurons is termed as synapse.

  • At the synapse, the electrical signals are converted into chemical signals.

  • Then the chemical substance which is produced at the end of the axon of one of the neurons reaches to the other neurons with the help of dendrite.

Thus, the information signal is transmitted through one neuron to other neurons by synapse.
