At the synaps the electrical signals which recepted by dendrites are converted into chemical signals and then passed from one nerve to another nerve in nervous system

The axon terminal of a neurons releases specialized chemicals called neurotransmitters. These chemicals travel through the synapse and reach the dendrites of the successive neurons. These chemical messengers cross the synapse and starts a electrical impulse.
