Due to depletion of ozone layer a ozone hole forms.

An Ozone hole has been formed over Antarctica region.

Ozone layer is a layer of O3 surrounding the earth which protects it from harmful UV rays from the sun. But nowadays, due to the increased amount of greenhouse gasses and especially CO2 ( carbon dioxide) in the atmosphere due to the excessive use of vehicles using petrol, diesel, etc. which burnt and react with oxygen to form harmful gasses like methane, carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide polluting the atmosphere.
The depletion of ozone layer has adverse effect on all living organisms. If v r in contact to these UV rays for a long period of time then it can even cause skin cancer.

I hope this will help you and if so then please mark it as BRAINLIEST. : )
