All the nutrients of the food that is digested will be absorbed in the small intestine and during assimilation. The small intestine has small fingerlike projections called villi which are Rich in blood supply and also help In In the absorption of the food in the small intestine and the small intestine also secretes Juices or enzymes from the glands which are present in the small intestine that helps in smooth absorption of the nutrients from the food. And these nutrients that are absorbed by the villi in the small intestine as it has a rich supply of blood these nutrients are directly following into the blood and by the blood they are transported that is these nutrients are transported to different parts of the body and the villi in the small intestine helps in the smooth assimilation of the food!!
