Hey dear❗️❗️

⬛️Here is the answer, you needed..

Burning is a very fast chemical react in which a fuel combinsnwuth Oxygen, releasing heat and light. Each substance has it's own ignition temperature. Thusz some Substances which have low ignition temperature, catch fire easily, where others with high ignition temperature catch fire with difficulty. The size of the surface is also important, which reacts with oxygen in air. A big log of wood can not be ignited every easily. A flame rises only when the substance Burns in the gaseous state. In case of wood, the oil vapours in the wood burn, which gives the typical smell of the wood.

Hope my answer will help you!!

Answer:

When a match is struck, friction heats the head to a temperature at which the chemicals react and generate more heat than can escape into the air, and they burn with a flame. If a wind blows away the heat or the chemicals are moist and friction does not raise the temperature sufficiently, the match goes out.
