C6H12O6 + 02---> CO2 + H2O + ATP

This type of respiration can occur only in the presence of oxygen. Aerobic Respiration can be of 2 types, namely, Glycolysis and Kerb's Cycle.

  • In Glycolysis, ATP is produced in cytoplasm, producing 8 ATP.
  • While on the hand, in Kreb's cycle, ATP is produced in Mitochondria, producing 38 ATP.

Hope it helps and have a nice day!
