The pollen grains are released from male gamete and the sugary substance runs after the anther and reaches ovary. This sugary substance peers the ovary and the egg and moves to the polar gametes hence when the ample and female gametes are fused then fertilization takes place and it forms a zygote and hence there after it becomes a fruit.
