Chlorophyll sources or magnesium citrate are highly bioassimilable. The absorption of nutrients into the body after digestion in the intestine and its transformation in biological tissues and fluids. Assimilation is occurring in every cell of the body to help develop new cells.

Assimilation of food in the human beings occur in the following macronutrients or macro compounds Carbohydrates, Proteins and fats.

In the proteins the amino acids are not stored but are taken up by the cells in connection with the synthesis of the protein (liver being the chief site of deamination).

In Carbohydrates there is the excess of monosaccharides (single molecule); the glucose, fructose, and galactose are usually stored in the liver and muscle cells in the form of glycogen (contributing to glycogenesis). A considerable amount of glucose is converted into fat and stored as such.

In the fats they are stored as fat deposits in the body (seen in fat ladies, whoops), such as subcutaneous layers, mesenteries, etc.Int he liver cells the fats are converted into amino acids and Carbohydrates.
