PHYSICAL CHANGE

\huge\bf{\underline\green{Answer}}

➡️A physical change is a change to the physical—as opposed to chemical—properties of a substance. They are usually reversible.

➡️Physical changes are changes affecting the form of a chemical substance, but not its chemical composition.

➡️In a physical change appearance or form changes, but substance remains same.

➡️Common Physical Changes are:-

Texture:-The texture of a substance can differ with a physical change.

Colour:- The changing of color of a substance is not necessarily an indicator of a chemical change.

Temperature:- Although we cannot see temperature change, unless if a change of state is occurring, it is a physical change.

Shape.

➡️Eg:- Ice on melting converts to water. Water on evaporation converts to water vapor. All the products formed are still forms of water. Hence, this is a physical change.
