This change can actually be in many forms, including destruction, fragmentation, and degradation. But no matter how it happens, the plants, animals, and other organisms whose habitat has been destroyed no longer have a home.

Answer:

Habitat is a place where many kinds of species that are diversified in nature stays together. When a habitat is being destroyed or destructed, due to the less availability of food, and other resources they either die or shift to someplace else.

This results in the instability of the balance in ecosystem. Species are either endangered or gets extinct due to these reasons. Hence we should totally conserve biodiversity and habitat to maintain the balance of nature.
