All living organisms reproduce (asexual or sexual reproduction). If these organisms lose the ability to reproduce then life would cease to exist.
Organisms would not be able to create their offsprings and life would not be able to go on as organisma would die one by one as the years pass.
Other organisms would not be able to fend off their food as their sources of nutrition would die off.
In conclusion life would be extinct as we know it.
