what happens if area of rectangle of breadth is doubled and length is same.

The area doubles .

Explanation:

For example, let us take the breadth as 2cm and the length as 3cm.

Area=l×b

b=2b

=2×2

4cm

l=3cm

Area= 4×3

=12cm²

Normal area= 2×3

=6cm²

6×2=12

∴The area doubles
