Growth rate means that number of birth in a year and the difference between growth rate and death rate is called growth rate.Nowadays death rate are reduced due to improved medical facilities but the growth rate is not correspondingly reduced and if this continues the population will be very high and the world will be overcrowded as less deaths and more births will be there then automatically population will be high and reduction of minerals and resources will be there as more people, more consumption of minerals and resources.

Hope it helped you.............

Answer:

In The past recent years, India Has seen a huge rise in population.

But the fact is that, The Birth Rate has decreased tremendously. Still Population is on a high scale as compared to Old India where Rishis and Sadhus lived....

So The main reason of population increase is, Decrease in Death Rate.

Yes! The death rate of India has decreased soo much compared to Old India.

This is mainly due to advanced technologies like Health, Education

This makes people survive longer, Modern advanced facilities which include good hospitals, better medicines etc, Due to all these, Death rate has decreased!

At Past times, There were no such facilities, Hence, Death rate was tremendous as well as Birth rate, So Population was balanced., But now, death rate has decreased which makes population larger in India.
