If carbon losses catenation property humans would die.

Carbon attaches with other carbon atoms to form chains this is catenation. All the organic compounds are result of catenation. Without organic compounds there would be no hydrocarbons, no sugars, no plants and no humans as carbon is a useful composition of all these and in all of these carbon is found in catenation.

So if carbon losses catenation, prepare to search for a new planet.

Hope it helps ^_^

catanation property means the property of any element to link atoms of the element to form a long chain compound ..
e.g —C — C— C— C—

if carbon loose this property , it means it loose the link with another atom to form a long chain .
then , carbon can't form number of compound in a long chain.

also , after methane , rare possibility of ethane , propane , butane , etc .
becoz this form when carbon have catention property .
it effected in our daily life . becoz , food ( glucose ) petrol , clothes , polythene , medicine , and many things form by carbon and it's compound , so, after loosing this property , we can't find this in our daily habbit .so, hard to live life without this property In carbon .
