Chloroform gets decomposed to phosgene (COCl2) in presence of sunlight.
In air, it might lose its anasthetic property. It rapidly evaporates to form chloroform vapour in the air.
In a confined space with no extraction, the likely result is that you will be anaesthetised.
So will anyone who tries to rescue your inert body.
The concentration of chloroform near the floor will be high.
After that, both you & the rescuer(s) die from asphyxiation due to lack of oxygen or chloroform poisoning.
