If concentration of cell SAP of root hair cells is low than that of the surroundings then the water present in the the root hair cells move to the surroundings through a process called exocytosis.
● With the low concentration of ions in the cell SAP the condition becomes hypotonic and hence water flows out of the cells to the surroundings.
