\huge{\bold{ANSWER:-}}

Green plants make glucose, starch etc., using water, using water, chlorophyll, carbondioxide

They get carbon dioxide from air through their leaves.

The leaves have tiny holes called stomata through which, the exchange takes place continuously.

If leaves of a green plant are coated with oil, these stomata (tiny holes) get closed and exchange of air stops.

As carbon dioxide is not available, photosynthesis does not take place and plants cannot make their own food.

Plants may die due to this problem
