If net force acting on a body is zero (balanced forces), then there are 2 possibilities :-
[1] The body will be in uniform motion, i.e. its acceleration would be zero but but velocity constant (its speed and direction will not change).
[2] The body will be in equilibrium, i.e. at rest.

there can be two possiblities
1. the body is in uniform motion
2 the body is at rest
1. the body is in uniform motion
2 the body is at rest
