Skin has cutaneous receptors which are responsible for different sensations on the skin.
If skin loses it's capacity of sensing , we can't sense heat , pressure or any other dangers due to external stimuli , animals or objects.
Pacinian receptors are for the pressure and thermo receptors are for the temperature ,which sense the temperature and pressure on the skin.
If these receptors are absent we cannot sense heat or pressure.
