Answer:

Whether the culprit were too much sunlight or not enough, if photosynthesis stopped, plants would stop converting carbon dioxide -- an air pollutant -- to organic material. Right now, we rely on photosynthetic plants, algae and even bacteria to recycle our air. Without them, there would be less oxygen production [source: Hubbard ].

So let's say suddenly all the plants start to change their color because chlorophyll is required for photosynthesis. So, then the level of Carbon Dioxide and Oxygen is not balanced in the environment. Therefor, all plants begin to die because of not able to perform photosynthesis, so eventually humans begin to die even though if we get Oxygen from the atmosphere it is not enough due to the large population of animals and humans. Thus the world population will begin decrease until some people or a community start planting trees for a better future and realize that it was the only way to save the world. So the world population would be decreased by 50% or more or less and this also results in better growth of trees and less pollution but a huge tragedy for humans.
