What happens if rain coat is prepared with cotton thread? Why it happen so?

Raincoat help us from protecting ourselves from getting wet. But if we will wear raincoat which is made up of cotton then we will face many disadvantages:

1. Cotton absorbs large amount of water due to which we will become wet and it will not solve the purpose I wearing raincoat in rainy days.

2. It takes lot of time to dry up.

3. It will not last longer.

4. Wrinkle resistant
