A plant produces a large number of seeds. If all these fall below the plant and start growing, they will not get enough space, water, minerals and sunlight. So they will not develop into healthy plants and many of them may even die so dispersal of seeds is necessary by some natural agents by which the seeds of the plants get scattered over a large area.

If seeds are not dispersed all seeds will fall under the parent plant and fight for water ,minerals, sunlight. The plant which will be the strong will remain and others will die. So,seed dispersal Is very important for a plant to grow
