when seeds are not dispersed, they fall down directly from the parent plant instead of being transported to different areas. when this happens, there is a large competition for both food and survival and hence, many plants would not reproduce and plants of the same kind would not be produced in different areas. hence dispersal of seeds is very important. there are various ways of seed dispersal such as:
- b explosion
- by water
- by animals
-by wind
