Well if earth stops for 5 mins then we will be thrown up in the air because earth moves in a circular motion and hence we r bond to the earth due to centripetal acceleration which is basically gravitational acceleration and distance of any circular motion is given by its tangent so we will be directing in the path of its tangent even if earth stops for 5 mins ..
All buildings will collapsed and high wind pressures will be generated which will eventually end this planet
