They con not produce their starch, the food for the plant nor breathe thro .Photo-synthesis will not happen as they can not reach the carbon dioxide in air. Subsequently the leaves will turn yellow and the plant will die.

The openings in the leaves - the stomata will be blocked and so gas exchange will be prevented. As a result no CO2 will be available for photosynthesis and the plant will eventually die.

1.there will be no exchange of gases.

2.transpiration will not take place.

3.stomata will get sunken.

It will die
