Hey there!
=> When the plasma membrane of the cell breaks down the cellular components of the cell including cell organelles and cytoplasm will be released in the external environment ultimately leading to the cell death.
Hope it helped!☺️

Hey!!!
◆Answer:-If Plasma Membrane Breaks Down, The Cell Will Not Be Able To Exchange Material From It's Surrounding By Diffusion or osmosis.
If the plasma membrane ruptures inner contents of the cell, i.e. the cytoplasm and organelles will leak outside. So the identity of the cell will be lost.
Thereafter the protoplasmic material will be disappeared and the cell will die.
