if the strength of the current used in electroplating is very high the plating become brittle therefore only suitable strength of current is used in electroplating because excessive charge of positive and negative charge can result as immigraton of electron and thus only few electrons were passed in solution also when excessive amount of current flows this result in the breakdown of H+ and O2- called electrolysis and thus charges become equal and thus electroplating not occur this is called efficiency
