What happens if their is no STANDARD Time in india ?

if there is n standard time in india then each and every place of india will have different time so there will be a lot of confusion of what the time is?,for ex:: time gap between Arunachal pradesh and Gujarat is 2 hours if these states have their own local time which is different from the others then the time will be different at any instant.so if there is no standard time it leads to lot of confusion of what the time is at an instant.so we have introduced the standard time to solve this problem.if a nation has a standard time then the time will be same at any place and there wont be any confusion.
