Oxygen gas can dissolve in water. Normally there will be no reaction takes place between Oxygen and water, So Oxygen and water will retain their molecular form.
Aquatic animals uses this dissolved oxygen for their respiration.

Answer: Yes, oxygen will dissolve in water.

Explanation: Particles of water have kinetic energy, thus they have inter- particle space between them. So the oxygen will fill in the spaces between the particles of water, and there will be no chemical reaction.
